The Shadows overtook her, A darkness filled inside her soul. Fury permeated her heart. She was saturated and narked, having lost complete faith.
They were Cataclysmic times. She sat there feeling broken, piqued and crestfallen. Every bone in her body vibrated in pure fury.
The air around felt chilly and siberian. The winds gushed past her, bombarding her, violent and howling. And as the onslaught continued, she shivered, half infuriated and half haggered.
It irked her as the smoky cimmerian shade filled all around, gloomy hazy and obscure. It made her feel secluded and singled out.
She prayed for radiance, for a slight glow, for a tiny beam, but all she saw around was unending darkness.
Suddenly, a luminous shaft of light lanced through the curtain of gloom, ablaze and aglow. It went straight through her bosom into her heart.
Slowly, it infiltrated every cell, every atom, dissolving the murkiness and tenebrosity.
The blackness that had coated her heart now cracked. And through the cracks, a brilliant glow flashed. Scintillating and vivid, almost blinding the eye.
And as the pieces of ash crumbled, they gave way to the lucent, phosphorent light that now engulfed her soul.
Purity had once again outstripped wickedness.
Radiance had once again banished Rage.
Temper had bowed down, welcoming the beacon of light.
An aurora of mirth now filled her ambience. Firm faith ran in her veins.
The weariness dissolved and vanished into the air. She now stood there steadfast, unshaken and radiant.
A spark of ectasy and strength shone bright in her soul, as she stood there firm and resilient, ready to face any storm, any tempest, any blitzkrig or any upheaval that life would fling at her.
She would face all of this with strength, resilence and an unshaking faith.
