Its that time of the year!

The Tree is out is all its glory, stands tall, adorned with tinsel, eclectic ornaments and lights. On it hangs baubles gold and red, glittery gift boxes, golden luminous reindeer and bows! Berries and bells further adding to the enchantment. The golden star shimmering right on top. Fairy lights twinkling away.

The slight nip in the air declares the arrival of winter. Still more chilly as the evening matures. The scent of cedar and pine, the whisp of smoke of the scented  candles fill the air.  Dimmed lights and Hygge. The sweet sound of carols playing in the background as i write this piece. It’s a quarter to 12 at night, we’ve just about had a nightcap and what a mood!

Winter is upon us. With the chilly air,the warm jackets and  the berries grown, all cerise and ruby red. Glistening and sumptuous.

Its the season of Joy and Magic. The Angels are all set to cast their magic upon us as the work on their spells and enchantments.  The elves busy at work drafting the naughty and nice list and working in Santa’s workshop. The reindeers are all fed and ready. Santa’s doing his last minute paperwork before he sets of into the night with his sledge and his trusty reindeers.

It’s time for the conspiracy of love and holiday spirit. The little child hidden in me is all excited!

Cosy evenings with the family, evenings filled with exuberance and sparkle. It’s time to chug down those mugs of cider and eggnog. To sit by the tree and relish a cup of hot cocoa as we spend time laughing and singing. To indulge in those sinful chocolate desserts and in all things delectable.

The magic of Christmas just captures my heart. I can almost smell the freshly baked stollen and kugelhopf! The aromas of those rum soaked dryfruits just has me in tingles.

Everything about this season is bubbling away in magic. All we need to do is notice the beauty around us.

And even though there may have been ups and downs this year, it’s now time to celebrate, because this year has been tough no doubt, but it’s been a year of growth, of learning. It’s been a year of self expression.

So, its time to celebrate how much we have grown, how much we have flourished. How much we have blossomed. And to celebrate life. Pure joy de vivre.

Its time to make new beginnings and take new baby steps.

Because there is a whole new adventure that lies ahead. A new escapade, a new quest.
Because this life is colossal and cavernous. A little gold mine of opportunity and excitement. A multiverse of possibilities. A serendipitous life it is.

It’s the season to revel in this joyussance. To revel in this ecstasy.

A sense of euphoria is brimming in the air. And i can’t wait for what lies ahead.

It’s the season to open a bottle of champagne and toast to new beginnings and to a magnificant life.
